Our bodies are (sometimes unfortunately) very efficient. So, when we do repetitive motions continually, our bodies get efficient at those movements. That is why some people complain that certain gyms were exciting for the first month but after that, they rarely improved.
At Next Level Striking, Coach Kane constantly changes up the class so that you are always doing something different. He never wants your body to say “ok, I’ve got this”. So, there’s always new challenges in every class.
It’s the kind of workout and conditioning class that makes you leave feeling like you really accomplished something and you are tough enough to face whatever life throws at you.
Learning and growing your boxing skills is very motivational and has allowed most students to not only get in shape, but stay in shape. They want to come and keep getting better and better.
In addition, after a few months of building boxing skills, students start feeling the benefits of developing their new abilities. They learn that they can now defend themselves, if needed. It’s also a boost of confidence learning that something so difficult for them at one point, is now second nature.

At the same time, most who come to the gym to learn boxing, realize they also have to be in better shape.
Since the conditioning classes take place after the technique classes, most students take both. That way they are getting 2 workouts in a row!
The goal of the workout classes is to increase cardio ability from week to week. But, also to build lean muscle, balance, coordination and reduce injuries. So, you will truly feel the difference. You will simply be more capable and healthy in your daily life!
